Shocking Games

Greetings All!

I just want to pop in and make an official "news update" and give you a sense of what is going on around here. First of all, I still actively read these forums and check on the games. There has been some down time on both the site and games, and probably will continue to be. Some issues have been power outages, moving equipment around, etc. Others time was related to moving the website to a new registrar

The bottom line here is there has been, and probably will continue to be some down time.... but I will try to keep this as minimal as possible moving forward, and moving forward is what I intend on doing.

Please take some time to consider the following. These games are developed, hosted, and ran by my self. There has been some help that has come and gone, but for the most part this is a 1-man show. I thank all that has and continues to help in anyway they can.

These games seen active updates and development for a long time. I continue to keep them alive because we all miss the old games, and I don't intend to let these die like some of our favorites did.

Unfortunately the biggest problem I have is time. I work full time (40 - 50 hour a week), fly hot air balloons, ad every-day chores. I stay pretty busy. This past week I just found out I also have some really big news but even more time consuming, I am going to be a father!! That's right you all will have a "Little Dragon" running around here some day!

The good news is I am here, and the games are here, and we will keep moving along. I have some big questions to answer as far as where I want to take these games.... Possibly newer technology. I am always open to suggestions and ideas.

Also please, if you like these games there is a donate button on the main page. One big challenge is the needed hardware upgrades from the servers, to development systems and hardware. It's also great encouragement to see that some day, I can atleast "break even" while hosting and maintaining the games.

So, I look forward to seeing you all in the games. I am trying to get back into the swing of things!
